Day 281: Bathe in the lake

June 11, 2011 § Leave a comment

If I’d ever wondered what living in a 60’s hippie commune was like, I got a small taste today.

We are staying at a 2-bathroom lake house with 18 other people. As you may imagine, that results in a horrendously long shower queue.

Solution: Apparently they make a biodegradable shampoo out of eucalyptus leaves that is for specific use in bodies of water. So I embraced nature and bathed in Wisconsin’s Deer Lake.

You know how it feels in the shower when you accidentally bump the COLD knob and the water is suddenly freezing? This was a similar experience.
