Day 185: Bottle

After a week of beautiful bubbling, our brew was ready to bottle.

First step was to sanitize.

Then we drained the fermentation bucket into a newly sanitized bucket to get rid of the sediment.

Which looked similar to baby poop.

Next came the boiling of the priming sugar

And filling of bottles.

Finally, the capping of the bottles.

We discovered that the capping tool is awesome for re-capping people’s half-dranken beer when they’re not looking.
