Day 76: Cover a hot yoga class

November 18, 2010 § 1 Comment

A yoga studio at Old Orchard Mall let me do a photo slideshow of one of their hot yoga classes. The room thermostat was set at 105 degrees for an hour and a half while the students went through a series of poses.

My strategies to take interesting pictures of their poses included laying on the floor and jumping. The students could see my reflection in the mirror, and I’m sure they were a little freaked out. However,  I only lasted 15 minutes in the classroom before I had to leave. I had worn a t-shirt and jeans and was drenched in sweat. Got some great audio and photos though.

It was one big sweaty puddle of success.
