How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?

Thanks to Shireen for this idea. For a more exciting blog reading experience, I decided I would have my first ever live blog. For my purposes, a lick is defined as one single motion of the tongue. My chosen flavor is pomegranate, which they didn’t have when I was a younger. It begins:

150 – A small dent has begun to take shape

207 – Stephanie informs me how unattractive this is

283 – I’m experiencing muscle fatigue

326 – Signs of tootsie roll can be seen, but the taste of chocolate has yet to be achieved

401 – The stick is starting to fray

479 – The number of licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.
